This is a new edition by Darko Petrinjak of the Songs with Guitar Accompaniment of Ivan Padovec. Padovec was a Croatian composer of the nineteenth century (a composition by him is in the Tecla catalogue, the fine Grande Polonaise for two guitars, op. 18) This book is published in superb quality by the Croatian Musicological Society, on fine paper. It is in large music format, with 106 pages. It has been printed in only 400 copies. There are 30 songs, all with guitar accompaniment, some in Croatian but most of them in German, many originally published by Diabelli in Vienna, and all here re-engraved.
