| A small piece of new research information, since the
publication of this book last October:
In the introduction to the book, I mentioned that the
French translations in the Richault editions were attributed to "M.
Bélanger". But who was he? Now
a page on the Paris Bibliothèque Nationale site shows
that
whoever he was, he also translated the words of other music-related items
by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Weber, etc.
