More about Giuliani's
guitar duets Volume 19
The book contains six sets of Ländler, in reprints of the first editions.
In opp. 16a and 55 two normal guitars are used. In opp. 75, 80, 92
and 94, the first guitar is a terz guitar
and the second guitar is a normal guitar.
Volume 20
Contains the following four works for two guitars, in reprints of the
first editions:
- Rondeau alla Polacca (arranged from the last movement of the
Concerto op. 30). For one terz guitar and one normal guitar.
- Op. 35: Gran Variazioni Concertanti (a dramatic and eloquent
work. Because the two early editions are different in many details,
both of them are given here: one from Vienna from 1812, and the other
from Milan, about 1830). For two normal guitars.
- Op. 66: Three rondos. For one terz guitar and one normal guitar.
- Op. 67: Gran Potpourri (an interesting work, based on several
themes including a familiar one from Beethoven. Well worth
performing). For one terz guitar and one normal guitar.
Volume 21
Contains the following three works for guitar duet, in reprints of the
first editions:
- Op. 69: La Lira Notturna (a collection of twenty pieces). For one
terz guitar and one normal guitar.
- Polonaise (arranged from the third movement of the Concerto op.
70). For one terz guitar and one normal guitar.
- Op. 116: Le Avventure di Amore (ten waltzes bearing the names of
episodes in a love affair: L'Invito al ballo, L'Affetto, etc.). For
two normal guitars.
Volume 22
Contains the following four works for guitar duet, in reprints of the
first editions:
- Op. 130: Variazioni Concertanti (like op. 35, with which it has
resemblances, this is a dramatic and eloquent work). For two normal
guitars.
- Op. 137: Tre Polonesi Concertanti (three very lively pieces, well
worth performing). For two normal guitars.
- Auswahl der beliebtesten Deutschen vom Apollo Saal [no opus
number] (German dances from a Vienna dance hall). For two normal
guitars.
- Tarantella by G. Lanza, arranged by Giuliani [no opus number].
For two normal guitars.
Volume 23

two guitars, in reprints of the first editions:
- Overture to Spontini's La Vestale (for two normal guitars)
- Overture to Mozart's La Clemenza di Tito (for one terz guitar and
one normal guitar)
- Overture to Bellini's Il Pirata (for two normal guitars)
Volume 24

particularly recommended to duet players: fine sparkling music. All
four are for two normal guitars (not terz guitar).

Barbiere di Siviglia]
- Overture to La Cenerentola
- Overture to L'Assedio di Corinto
